Clubs and Teams
GKCF serves as a central hub for all things paddling. We connect local clubs, coaches, athletes, and paddling enthusiasts to each other to train and develop a passion for our sport. Whether you paddle for recreation, fitness, cultural connection, or competitive goals, GKCF is here to help you find your place on the water and in the boat! Our goal is to make paddling accessible, inclusive, and community-driven.

Mission Statement: Team Poksai was founded in 2001 by a handful of like-minded athletic mothers with the goal to facilitate their busy schedules with early morning practices and expand the women’s paddling program on Guam. They chose the CHamoru word “Poksai" believing it perfectly encapsulates the essence of being a woman paddler, embracing the challenges and opportunities of childbearing and rearing alongside their competitive spirit. While traditionally a women’s team, Poksai Canoe Club is dedicated to fostering all levels of paddling and expanding both the men’s and mixed division teams.

We take fun seriously, racing not for gold but for bragging rights at the post-paddle barbecue. Age? Just a number. Attitude? Off the charts.
